The front page contains information and links to pages that is relevant to the user. It is designed such that the end user can easily access the labs developed by the university.
At the top of the page is the name of the university that developed, with the university logo shown on the right.
Just beneath is the main navigation menu that provides access to various pages of the site and embedded in the navigation menu is a Google Custom Search box to help a user find what they need on the website.
Below this are listed the broad areas developed by the university. These are links to the broad areas and clicking on the desired broad area will redirect the page to the labs listed under that broad area.
On the left side, of the page is shown a featured simulation and on the right, adjacent to the broad area are shown the latest news. Clicking on a particular link here takes the user to the page containing that detailed news article.
