The different labs that come under each subject/broad area can be found under this link.The labs can be accessed either by clicking on the corresponding Broad Area or by clicking on the link "Labs" under "Content Manager" on the left side navigation tree menu of the page.A privileged user can perform the functions like add, edit/ delete labs of the selected broad area.
To add a new lab under a particular Broad Area, select it and click on the link “Add New Labs”. A text box will appear where the user can add the name of the lab and a short description about the lab can be given below it in the space provided. Once done the lab can be added by clicking on e "Add" button.
To edit a particular lab’s name and its description, the user can click on the “Edit” icon against the respective lab. The user can make the necessary edits in the text box that has the earlier saved information.Once done, the ‘Save’ button can be clicked and to show the latest information is save a message ‘Saved’ is displayed.
At any time, a user can delete a lab by clicking on the “Delete” icon shown against the respective topic. A pop-up window will appear asking to confirm the operation. If sure the user can click "OK" to continue. This permanently deletes the lab to from the particular broad area.
A privileged user can hide a particular lab from the main view by clicking on the eye icon shown in the column next to the selected lab. The function will not display the selected lab on the site, but it can still be viewed /edited in the dashboard by the admin or a user with privileges. To show that the lab is hidden, the icon of a closed eye will appear near the hidden lab.So long as the page is kept hidden it will.
This allows a user to change the display order of the labs by simply dragging them up and down.
