First time users who want to register to the site can do so by themselves. To create an account, the user can click on the ’Login’ link on the navigation menu at the top of the page. This redirects to the login page, where the user can click on the ’Create an account’ button, which navigates to the self-registration page.
The necessary details can be filled in the space provided for registration and the user can click on the ‘Register’ button to submit details. The email id and password are mandatory fields.
A new user can also login to the platform using their open ID accounts. All self-registered users and those first time open ID logins will be registered as guest by default, which can be changed later if required. Once changed, all future log ins will reflect the new role assigned even if the used login is open ID or the normal login.
