Nodal Center is a group of students/ institution that access the content of the virtual lab.The system provides an integrated learning platform that provides tools to support the communication between the instructors and the learners of a nodal center.
Instructor can track the users (students), assess performance by creating question papers, submit as assignments and generate reports of those assignments assigned to their learners, Similarly, students (Learners) could perform and submit these assignments. In spite of the self -evaluation tab provided in each experiment, the instructor could create separate assignments for the selected students using this platform. In order to assign such assignments, the instructor needs to send a request to/accept invitation from students. The instructor should create a group of such accepted students with desired criteria. i.e, assignments should be assigned to a group, not to a single student.
Instructor sends invitation to the students and vice versa. Students/instructor can either accept or ignore these invitations as desired. Once the invitation is accepted on both the sides. Instructor can create groups with these students and assign an assignments. The instructor should then create a question paper and submit these questions as assignments to the groups. Instructor could also set start and end time, number of attempts for the assignments. The status of the assignments are tracked with colour code. Once students / group submit the assignments,individual detailed scores are generated. Admin users can also import students in bulk. The overall usage/attendance report can also be generated here.
