    CONNECT SCANNING PROBE

 

Start with port setting in your Computer

 

Step 1: 

Before start scanning object on 3D milling machine need to do settings with the system port.

1)      Click START -->Printer & faxes --> Right click on Roland Modela MDX-20 printer --> click on Properties -->click on Port tab --> select the

        port --> click on Apply & OK

2)      Right Click on --> MY COMPUTER --> click on Manage -->window will appear as shown in fig-2

3) Click on Device Manager Shown in above figure-3. Then Click on Ports (COM &LPT)

4) Double click on the Communication port --> then PORT tab

5) Click on Advanced

6) Click on Start --> All Program --> Dr. Picza. Screen will appear of Dr. Picza scanning software,As shown in Fig-6

7) Go to --> File --> Preferences --> Do setting as Shown in following --> select COM1 --> Click OK ( See fig 7)

Set  X SCAN PITCH = 0.020

        Y SCAN PITCH = 0.020

        Z Bottom         = 0.394 (By Default)

 

Click on Scanning Area tab(Given in Red color)  in Controller following screen will appear as shown in fig-8.

As Given Below We can resize Blue window. & Even we can test area that we want to test . By clicking on

 

Begin Test Area (Given in Lavender color)

 

Following is the window  with Resized Blue rectangle to give specific area of scanning.

  And Click on FINE TAB & SMART SCAN

  At last we can start scan by Clicking on

8) At last scanned image can be export in given format as shown in fig 21
