1.To download the data from external databases as xml, sif or GML file formats, follow the steps given below.

Go to the pathway database as like as IntAct www.ebi.ac.uk/intact/

Search for the interaction pathway as in the figure 2

From the result obtained download the pathway in required format

2. To Download Gene expression data , follow the procedure given in the link vlab.amrita.edu/

3. Download and install cytoscape as explained in below steps

Cytoscape can be downloaded from the web link www.cytoscape.org

Make sure to install java before installing cytoscape. If you have not already installed java install it from
java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/download.html

We can install cytoscape for different platforms Windows, GNULinux and Mac, choose your platform and download the latest version of cytoscape.

For windows click on the downloaded icon and click on next button

For Linux machines run extract the downloaded tar file , open the teminal and locate to cytoscape folder ,in terminal run as "sh cytoscape.sh "
