The section head is just an option that allows a user to add a description in between questions to divide quizzes into different categories/sections. To do this the ‘Section Head’ should be selected from the drop down list of the ‘Add New Question’ type. The user can enter the information for the section head in the text box and click on “Add & publish” to publish it in the site.
A user can at any time, edit or delete the added questions or the section head by clicking on the ‘Edit’ or ‘Delete’ icon next to each question. Once either of this is done, based on the option chosen the user can click the “Edit & Publish” button to edit the question, or click the “OK” button to confirm the deletion.
The display order of the questions and section heads can also be changed by clicking and dragging the blue coloured double headed arrow displayed near each question or section head. To see the blue coloured double headed arrow the user needs to hover the mouse near to the question.
The quiz tool tracks the user performance and keeps a long of the responses, if right or wrong. It also keeps a log of whether the user used a hint to answer the particular question. Detailed information of this log for each user, experiment, lab and university can be obtained by clicking on the 'Quiz Report' under 'Report.'
