January 28th, 2011 saw all the southern regions of India involved in the National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology convene at the BSNL Office, Bangalore.
The meeting was presided over by Shri. N.K. Sinha and Dr Krishnashree Achutan, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Univeristy presented an overview of the Virtual Labs project, which at present consists of over 200 labs spanning a total of 9 Science & Engineering disciplines and continues to grow. The event was well attended drawing the interest of more than 50 University Heads and Vice Chancellors who were present for this event.
