Assignments

 

  1. Calculate the value of hot emf when Platinum-Rhodium thermocouple is used. Adjust the hot temperature at 231°C and reference temperature at 0°C.
  2. Draw a graph connecting thermo emf and temperature difference between two junctions when Platinum-Rhodium thermocouple is used. Adjust the hot temperature at 884°C and reference temperature at 40°C.
  3. By drawing the  graph find the relation between thermo emf and temperature of hot junction of a) Iron and Constantan thermocouple b)Copper and Constantan thermocouple, when the hot temperature at the junction is at 300°C and reference temperature at 80°C.
  4. Calculate the value of hot emf when Chromel-Alumel thermocouple is used. Adjust the hot temperature at 100°C and reference         temperature at 250°C.
  5. Draw a graph connecting thermo emf and temperature difference between two junctions when Chromel-Constantan thermocouple is used. Adjust the hot temperature at 500°C and reference temperature at 100°C.
